Fees and Salaries Reports
The impetus for this report, which was completed in 2001, comes in the main from service users and purchasers who have had no benchmarks to use in establishing what an appropriate fee for an assignment might be.
Whilst this report does not provide benchmarks, it does indicate the range of incomes received by and the fees charged by interpreters.

The association is pleased to acknowledge the cooperation of many interpreters in order to complete the survey and report. It is intended thatt we will repeat this exercise at regular intervals; this exercise has provided a useful basis for further surveys.
Special thanks go to Karen Green, an ASLI member, who compiled the report and to CACDP for providing the funding to make it possible.
