Workshop 1
‘Introduction to Mentoring’ |
Anyone who has an interest in mentoring and wants to know more – open to potential mentors and mentees (Deaf or otherwise). |
- What is an effective ‘supporter’?

- Introduction of ASLI’s Mentoring Scheme
- What happens next?

- Understand the role of a Mentor
- Be committed to ASLI Mentoring Scheme
- Identify if want to become a Mentor and therefore move on to Workshops 2 & 3

Workshop 2
‘Mentoring Skills’ |
- Any qualified SLI who has completed Workshop 1 or has relevant APL (see APL document for more information)
- Any other qualified specialists (not necessarily in interpreting – see introduction) who has completed Workshop 1 or has relevant APL
